Stephen Ruben joined Conyers Dill & Pearman in May 2010 as Business Development Manager.

Previously, Stephen was the principal of his own company, Valuelaw Consulting, where he advised and coached firms, practice groups, individual attorneys and executives in business development and client relationship management strategies, tactics and processes. Stephen has also held business development positions at the New York law firms of Chadbourne & Parke and Moses & Singer.

Before moving into business development, Stephen practiced real estate, corporate, M&A and estate planning law in Toronto for over twenty five years. He was called to the Ontario bar in 1973 and is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada.

Stephen holds a JD and a BA in Political Science from the University of Toronto. He is a member of the Legal Marketing Association, where he served on the Programming Committee for a number of years.
